Richard D'Avanzo
Richard T. D’Avanzo knows all too well the pain and heartbreak of divorce. When his wife ended their marriage of thirty years, he was completely stunned and utterly devastated. But he took his experiences from those difficult years and wrote a book, When the Vow Breaks, that reveals how God’s redemptive love brought healing and restoration to his life.

Now remarried, Richard lives with Maria in Vero Beach, Florida and teaches at Florida Christian University. In addition to teaching, Richard conducts divorce recovery seminars and is becoming a sought after speaker.

Richard has a master’s degree in Christian counseling from Florida Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Florida Christian University, where he is a faculty member.
